In a previous post about Patrick Blanc’s house, I explained why decorating a space with plants is ideal, but sometimes plants decorate the city and shield us from its ugliness. Look at these photos taken in Garbatella, a very inspiring area of Rome, one of the first examples of garden-city started in 1921 by the last king of Italy, Vittorio Emanuele, and expanded by Mussolini.
